Better radiation therapy using AI
Lars E Olsson: Lecture · 8 min

Recorded at Sjukhusaulan in Lund on November 10, 2021.
Moderator: Lisa Kirsebom. Organizer: Lund University.

A large proportion of those who suffer from cancer receive radiation treatment.
It is then important that the radiation is concentrated to the right area and does
not damage surrounding organs and tissues. Lars E Olsson, professor of medical
radiation physics, talks about how artificial intelligence can make radiation
therapy more effective.
